The NSPCC is the UK's leading children’s charity preventing child abuse, but despite this, there is little public awareness of what they do to protect children. I worked on a campaign focused on the fact that the NSPCC are there every day to protect children from abuse and told our story, powerfully and emotively.
We showed, that from work in schools to face-to-face therapeutic services, the NSPCC are protecting children today and preventing abuse from happening tomorrow, so that child abuse becomes a thing of the past.
The campaign worked across multiple channels – I wrote a TV script and on social, print and digital content. In an authentic and clear way, it showed our practitioners on the frontline and used children’s experiences to put who we help at the heart of the campaign.
The campaign exceeded its regular giving targets, and also dramatically increased volunteer registrations in schools and Childline. We saw a huge increase in homepage traffic and engagement on our social channels.
